    Default Cattle Egret

An other picture from the Cattle Egrets in Spain last year. Done some more work with it from last time, sharpen it a bit, increased the yellow parts and darken the BG.

Very nice preening pose with good whites. I like how the foreground creates a frame around him, that is the reason I don't mind the almost centered compo.

Me too, I like the composition, and the complementary foreground and background work well with the whites of the bird. I would run another round of sharpening to try to bring up a bit more detail in the face and eye.

I also like the beautiful natural frame and nice BG. Do wish for a less steep angle and agree with John about sharpening looks a bit soft on my screen. TFS
