    I like the eye contacts and angle and wish there were less overlap. You could try to get more details in the whites and blacks. Stopping down might have helped with wider DOF.

    Robert, liked the two good head angles and the shooting angle. Is this a big crop? at f/5.6 I'd have not expected the back bird to be even that much in focus....and would have expected a much better BG blur. If you indeed have more room around, a wider crop will be better IMO. Surprisingly high noise( can be seen in the far bird) at iso 400 for 7D. Did you have to lighten during raw conversion?

    the back bird was turning so heads were almost level less than half frame , yes i did lighten a little, selected the birds .
    Thanks for comments iv lots to learn about PP work but all good fun.

    The picture is over sharpened that you could see lots of noise on the wings.
