Beautiful bird, gorgeous light, sharp detail, and very nice bg !

A bit tight at top and bottom for my taste.

    Welcome, Ad.

    Great first post.

The bg and the green moss complement the bird beautifully.

Very nice and clear image with lovely bg. Looks like it's been posted to the wrong forum as there is a human element included in the frame :)
Of course this doesn't decrease the value of the image. Excellent first post :) Welcome here.

    Welcome Ad Postma!

Lovely light, pose and BG! The bird is so splendid!
the colors and sharpnes are spot on my HW calibrated monitor.

Good job at f5.6 and 1/100s!

Excellent first post. I love the background color - your subject and its perch stand out wonderfully. A vertical crop might have been nice on this particular image but other than that it's a gorgeous shot.

A stunning image! I like everything about this one. I like the horizontal crop, but a vertical crop would also work well with this image.

Wow! Beautiful light, pose, perch and BG. Awesome first post, welcome to BPN. My only nit would be it isn't mine. :)
