    Default Pelican Glide

These Brown Pelicans like to glide just over the water -- I like this shot as it shows the tip of its wing just barely skimming the top of the water.

Man, this is a cool image! I really like the background and pose with those wings skimming the water and the reflection in the water. Colors are good, but I think a bit more contrast would really help it pop. Overall the detail is a bit soft and the front wing seems a bit blurry, especially the tip. I like the composition overall, and would have left a bit more room on the bottom and right as its a bit tight.

I like the light, angle of the bird, calm water and the wing touching it. Did you run NR on the bird? It looks rather soft on my monitor. I would give it a bit more room and wish for more wing/bill separation.

I like the wing touching the water but not crazy about wing position and the merge. softness is due to f/16 diffraction. TFS
