I still do stuff without Fractalius. My usual technique for these texture enhancements (as opposed to line enhancements with Fractalius) involved Topaz Adj(small detail preset), followed by Topaz Clean 2. Lately I've been using Topaz Detail2 instead of Adj, which seems to keep noise in check more. comments and critique welcomed. regards~Bill

Bill, I love to see Pelicans on pilings- it just seems right. Nice pose and details. I think it still has a bit of noise in the BG. especially the pale green strip and by it's feet and it's underbelly. I love the high-key look and the processing is top notch.:)

The photo has a very pleasant feel to it and says to me that this is the wise old pelican.
Tons of detail and lovely pose.

Very, very nice, Bill! Perfect pose and love all the detail. Both your topaz and frac treatments are so lovely. :)

Appreciate the feedback as always! Thanks Denise,Dave,Nicki,Paul,Christopher. Good point about the noise in BG Denise, something I overlooked and is easily fixed. regards~Bill,
