HI Peter - looks like you are enjoying this high key stuff :)
Lots to like here - good HA on both birds, sharpness and exposure looks good - the + 2.3 has exposed the birds properly and you have let the sky fall were it may.
I might crop vertical and perhaps even include a thin black border around the image.
    Good show :)

Well done, Peter, Lance covered everything, and I agree a 1 px border would set it off

Thanks for sharing your super shot and processing

    Thank you Lance and Gus.
Here is a re-post with a more vertical crop and a border.

Pleasing composition. I was curious to see how this would look with the perch simplified. Once I got there, I started thinking maybe
landscape orientation works well with the diagonal line-up of the birds. So many possibilities for this very nice image. Good work!

    Hi Peter

Good looking pair of birds and well posed !! Do like the high key look and in this case the only way to go, both re posts look excellent !!

.. have only one question, the WB was set to cloudy? With high key images is best not to unless you want a slight cast in the bg !!! Big Congrats on this one !!!

David, Thanks for the comments and re-post. That does simplify the perch, but maybe a bit too much. I may try just clipping the center btanch.

Alfred, Thanks for your comments. WB was set to auto on this image; I was telling you it was a cloudy day.

Hey Pete! Nice image! Like the first repost the best esp the black border. If you shot raw, you might try adjusting the WB to get a clean white bg w/0 a slight cast. Just an idea!
