This was tougher than I thought, tried lots of images..most of them were burnt out..
This image of a gull flying by had some promise, reduced the levels so some details would show..

Whoever said this shows how clean your sensor is, was bang on, cleaned mine after this shoot

Copied and pasted in a gull head from another image, wasn't sure it would be ok

    Framed..hope this fits this theme...

Very different look, Paul! I like the simplicity of it. There's a bit of bothersome noise at the top! Colors are great:)

BIF are very tough at this speed. I found gulls really tough as they zig zag all over the place. I found Canada geese and Swans easier although I didn't get anything I liked. Taking off and landing is best as that is when they are the slowest. Would like to see the orig, to see how you did.:)

Paul, I like the composition. The BG color is fun and brings a South Beach flair to it. I agree w/ Kora about the noise. Nicely done.:)

Paul, I love the wing tips - very pretty...I think that I would prefer a little more blur on the head.
    Best,
    Nicki

Thanks everyone for comments..Nicki, I tried to blur the head but in this instance didn't look right..in the original no head was showing, as you see below..
Jackie original posted below..not much detail...unless you push levels all the way to the right..

Paul, I think add a faint eye and beak and you have a winner here.:)

All three psots look pretty good to me.
I really like the nice rubbery look to the wing tips.
