    Default Jeepers

Went out yesterday to see my old pal the Barred Owl of the Loop Road. As usual, overcast skies.

Do I clone out the green or not?

I'm sure Alfred is drooling over the feet.

cloned out few dark patches and weeds to get pure white background, except for the little leafs.
    eliminated red eye

You got it Mike ... would have stacked converters on the 7D gone right for them !!! :D

Mike the image had so much impact I did not even noticed the grass ! After seeing might as well remove !! Fan of high key images and like this one a lot !!!

... remember to start gathering feet, time will be here before you know it :) May 15th !!!

Hi Mike....Like the high key look and the feather detail..I would remove the green! I don't think it contributes anything.

Like it a lot Michael - love the high key - nice detail and exposure is right on the money.
Id would have been tempted to take some vertical as well.
A little tight top and bottom for my own personal tastes - BUT Love it!!!!

Excellent. Great pose, perch, eye contact, sharpness and detail.
My vote is to lose the green.

Very nice shot. nice and sharp. Like the catchlights from the flash. Vote for greenery removal. Otherwise lovely high key.

Hi Mike ....You might consider placing a slight black border around this image to really set it off. I like it alot!
