Nice pose in an impressive looking kingfisher, Ram. Image looks a little soft as presented and some of the whites are lacking detail but don't seem clipped.

I like the unusual setting for a kingfisher. Head angle and eye contact look good. I might sharpen the bird a bit more and might remove the rock in the BG. Another vote for toning down the whites. You could have dialed in negative EC. Maybe a slight crop off the top?

The repost looks better. I would only tone down the whites more and crop a tad off the top.

The bird looks much sharper in the repost.

As far as sharpening, something in between the two since the repost has some slight halos around the bill.
Great to get him in that environment.

Much better on the repost...just a bit of clean up to do in the cloned areas (BTW the comp looks better without the BG rock). There is a faint halo under the bill even in the soft version...do you sharpen before resizing (it should be done after...)

Repost works well, and this guy looks like a mixture between our Pied Kingfisher, and our giant kingfisher.

What a beautiful bird and I like the unusual setting. Everything has been pretty much covered with the above comments. Like this a lot Ram and thanks for sharing.
