One of my first attempts at the 8sec blur. This is some pampas grass. Camera handheld (exif follows) and color correction in Camera raw and CS. Border added.

Kora, I like the way the ends look frayed. The darker BG seems to highlight your Sails. Nice work.

    Nice image and application, Kora.

I like the shapes and positioning of the "sails", as well as the colors.

I am surprised that it looks so sharp. I was confused at first because I thought that the title was "Snails." Ooops.

Thanks for looking at my 'Sails', folks - and for all your comments. Artie, I didn't realise that blurs shouldn't look 'sharp'. Maybe it's too OOTB for the exercise:D

Kora, I love this - they really do look like sails! All the colours compliment each other perfectly and I like the feathery bits at the top that add texture. Very nice!
    Best,
    Nicki

Sorry about that, Artie. So, as this doesn't fit the theme would someone kindly put into the general category:)

I think it looks great - the light "sails" against the darker BG really gives it a nice punch. I also like that my eye sweeps through the entire image. Lovely work, Kora!

Kora - it reminds me of the Sydney Opera House in an abstract way. I like it a lot:)
