Took this in Florida just as the sun was coming up. I wish the front of the bird was lit up but I still like it!

Hi Bob - as you mentioned the light angle is the problem here - wish he was facing into that gorgeous warm early morning light.
Think I would have zoomed into 400mm to fill the frame a little more. Hard in mixed light like this.

Although Lance has a point, I would still be happy to have this in my files - that light is spectacular. Don't get to see that very often where I come from :D
