    Hi everyone,
This is an image from the Washington coast a few years ago. It's almost ff, just cropped a sliver from the left to remove one bright area with no godwits.

This image was selected as a Showcase Image in the 2009 yearly NANPA photo contest. Congrats to the other members and moderators who had images selected including Roman Kurywczak, Judy Lynn Malloch, Mike Millicia, Robert Amoruso, Keith Bauer, Bonnie Block and Al and Fabs Forns. (I hope I didn't miss anyone)

    Hey Nate,
Very unusual and artistic interpretation! I agree the wing blurs add a great deal to the overall appeal.

Hi Nate, I like how they are looking the same way, and that their beaks are all at the same angle. Good use of DOF.
