    Hi Everyone,
    This is the final companion to my two pevious great egret posts. It was taken just after they had finished mating. Any comments with regard to HA should please be refered to the title of the image :D
    1D Mk3 300 f2.8
    ISO 400
    F22 1/250
    Exp comp @ -1.33
    Manual mode - I think...

    Hi Nicki - another unique Nicki creation - different :)
    Not sure if I would get rid of some of the negative space on the LHS to bring more attention onto the subjects.
    Like how you push the boundaries :)

    HI Nicki......another great egret image......the whites seem nicely handled.....I think I would take a bit off the LHS as Lance suggested

    Lance and Bob, thanks so much for your very kind words. I did already play around with the black area and couldn't seem to make up my mind, but felt on balance that the large white area needed a little more balance. I'll be interested to see what others think.

    Like it as presented. I think the B and W balance nicely and the head turning away says it all.

    i agree with your crop. it does balance it. i tried cropping and it doesnt seem right with the head looking left anyways. gotta give the room for that! i like how you lightened the shadowed eye. makes it for me!! that and the fact that it's different!!!!!:D
