    Another Timberdoodle from last week,
I cleaned up few grass stems on the left.
The eye was completely redone due to strong
flash "red eye" effect (completely white and purple in this case).
    CC appreciated.

Ilija, these type of comps always work for me. I like the inquisitive posture, and the bird is nicely illuminated by the flash.

I like the composition and the eye was redone beautifully. I'm getting frustrated, because over the years I have seen countless numbers of these guys, even a few times in daylight, and have yet to get one frame hahah.

Interesting comp, and great work on the eye! Nice low angle, and I like the inquisitive pose. I'm not sure about the remaining OOF grasses at right though...for me they compete for attention. Perhaps just removing (or darkening) the thicker one closest to the bird would be just enough.

Thank you all for the comments, appreciated as always.

Dan: I was thinking a lot about the grass on right.
I guess I was thinking too much :)
I think you helped me change my mind back to getting rid of it.
