    Default Eagle/heron confrontation

I was extremely lucky to chance upon this early morning encounter last year in the Okavango Delta. The heron easily sent the eagle juvenile eagle packing, everything was over in a few seconds.

Great work, Chris !! Like the action caught with eagle in air, and feet adding so much, not mention the formidable bill of the heron backed by very intense eyes. It has it all !!

Super action, incredible light, and great sharpness. Even though the raptor's talons are formidable, the heron looks like it means business!

    Hey Chris,
super action and tack sharp. Must have definitely been on the same plane as at f4.....all in focus! Just enough of the heron to give a sense to the story!

Outstanding as usual. The heron's expressin and the eagle's pose convey what happened very well. Good job on the DOF here. Hard shot to pull off this well. Congrats.
