I spotted this bird in the backyard and sneaked up to it to get this image. I thought this was a cute pose-thus the title. After cloning out a dark shadow band from the fence directly behind the bird, I took it into PSE to clean up my clone job and apply the posterization and texture.

Julie, Nice job w/ this one. I like the texture and the poster effect. Might be a tiny bit tight on top. I like the clear eye.:)

Like the texture and the alert pose, agree with d and might add more canvas at the top. Good work Julie.

    Nice image and application, Julie.

    The effect looks familiar! :D

While not a major item, I might clone out the spots around the bird. I know this is from the Poster Edge filter, but due to the limited number of "spots", it appears to be a "missed cloning item". :( I find using a larger (24, etc) clone brush get's it done quickly! ;)

    But ...

    Your image ... your vision.

Great pose you captured, Julie. And that eye is wonderful. Like the PP apart from what look like 'fly specks' on the background to me. No offence meant:)

I loves me a robin redbreast! Cute pose and you really took it to the comic side with the poster effects. I'd also clone out the extra spots throughout the image per Mark's instruction.
