    Peregrine-on attack!

    The sun has finally come out up here in the PNW. The photographers in the area are so fortunate to be able to witness a pair of Perigrine Falcons as they hunt a flock of Dunlins. It is an amazing sight to behold up close---I can barely shoot images--It is just as nice to just watch. A very special sight.
    It is no easy task to catch one of these in focus in the frame---the action is intense and very, very fast!

    Canon 7D 500/4 IS
    1/3200s f/5.6 at 500.0mm iso400 Handheld---
