I am sharing this image with you even though it has many technical faults which are apparent. What I like about it is the flowers that he is bringing her and I hope that you do too. Their nest is near the Long Island sound. He flew toward the sound and returned with these roses.
Wow , I didn't know an Osprey could be so romantic. Now if you get a shot of him smoking a cig. the story would be complete.;););) Nice to see them back and a fine capture as well. Glad the wind storm didn't destroy this nest.
Grace, Beautiful in-coming pose with lovely underwing details. I like the light coming through the tail and wings. I have never seen any bird carrying roses before. Very nice capture. I like it :)
