    White Ibis captured along Taylor's Creek, Beaufort, NC. 40D, Bigma @ 500mm, iso 400, f/8.0, 1/1600. RAW conversion via CS3 including slight adjustments to clarity, vibrance and saturation plus some sharpening. Selective sharpeing of bird in Photoshop, selective despeckle and noise reduction on background, shadow/highlight adjust on bird.

    hi Bob - sharp and exposure looks good - face and head evenly illuminated with some of the body in shadow - guessing this is why the S/H on the bird - sometimes its just not possible to get the sun lined up at your back.
    Id crop some from the bottom - and add a tad to the RHS if you have it.
    Looking good.

    Another agreement and might suggest this is one of those cases that higher is a little better !!!

    Nice pose and agree with a small crop from the bottom. I am wondering if the whites hve a blue colour cast. (might be my laptop) Anyways really like it, especially the OOF elements on the bottom.

    One disadvantage of a kayak for photography, standing up isn't really an option.
