    Beautiful flicker portrait, Jack. It looks like the focus was on the breast and perch behind the bill. The head and eye are slightly OOF. Very nice BG.

    Good for you to get a nice clean shot of the Flicker.
    I agree that the focus seems to be on breast rather than head. It may be worth it to try a bit more sharpening on head.

    Nice colours and pose. Would crop less and sharpen more.

    Jack , love the species but head seems soft. Sensor might have focused on body - TFS.
