    Default Tulip

I added my soft-fix preset in Fractalius to this tulip that I laid on the table. This is pretty much full frame shot w/ a macro lens using f/3.2

Beautiful image and composition, Denise. I love the soft colors. I like that small touch of blue. Very nice macro work and processing. TFS.

    Nice image and application Denise.

I might have enhanced the veins a little if it were mine. My eyes see them, but there is no grab there. But ...

Very well handled Denise. Just enough detail among the overall softness. I also like the fact that you offset the stem with pleasing pastel colors....

Love that touch of blue in this shot. Nice that you had saved that pre-set. Just curious was it really f3.2 or f32?

denise, You did achieve the soft look very well and I can see the limited DOF. Very nice. I just wasn't used to the 3.2 as my macro goes 2.8 then 3.5. I'm showing my inexperience again :(

Those colors! I can't wait for tulip time! I can't believe this is Fract'd Denise...outstanding work! I might have angled the stem in from the corner but I don't think either way is better - just different. :D Now move over so I can get a good whiff of this beauty.

    Ahh....spring!

Very subtle colour palette, like the shallow DOF combined with the soft preset D.
