    Default Aggressive woodpecker

    A few Red Winged blackbirds were flying in close to this female Red Bellied woodpecker and put her in defence mode.

    Nice shot and I love that red eye. Background is a bit too bright for my tastes and I would try to desat the greens to see what that looks like

    Rick, I really like the action you captured in this shot and it looks like you got nice color and detail. I agree about the BG being a tad bright and toning it down a bit might make this a stronger image IMO.
