    Hi Tony,

Love the pose and details and the dark BG makes your subject POP! The DOF does not bother me at all.

Nice pose and BG on this one. The yellow spot on the neck is a bit bright (255 in the R&G channels in a lot of areas) so I'd try to bring it down a bit.

    Hi Tony,
Good perch, nice subject, great headturn and like Maxis pointed out the BG makes it pop. A couple of suggestions though, I would try to move the subject a bit more to the right of the frame and give it a bit more space on top, the plume is a bit hot. Next time you have an opp like this try to not let the tail merge with the perch. Minor things though, very nice shot in any case!

Beautiful capture Tony with good detail and lighting as well as a great BG. I agree with Jim that the yellow spot on the neck llooks a tad bright and I persoanally would like to see a bit more room at the top. I am wonderfing how a vertical crop would look here if you had enough canvas. Just a thought. Very nice as presented Tony and thanks for sharing.

I like the pose and agree regarding the yellows. Desaturating them a bit should do the trick. I also think that it might work well as a vertical crop if you have more space.

Very nice image, Tony. I agree that the background helps your subject stand out nicely. I'd also like to see this as a vertical composition, adding some canvas to the top if needed.
