I've found the bleach bypass very difficult to tame, but you've managed it beautifully, Fabs. Like the pose, and the composition:)
Fabs, what lovely colors! I love your Nik processing. I've been squinting through a macro lens and now can't see too well, but wonder if his face/eye is sharp. If it is, then disregard! :D
Barbara, this was taken after sundown, with water as midtone as the bird, so it is impossible to get critical sharpness without a flash, especially hand held. So I enjoyed them for what they are.
Thanks guys!
And, we do enjoy them too. You made good out of less than ideal conditions and sans tripod. :)
Love the colors, with the water echoing those of the bird. Lovely! Nice tranquil feel.

What a lovely, peaceful image, Fabs. :) Love the soft colors, and perfect placement for the bird.
Fabs, I like the effect of the bleach bypass. The water colors are dreamy. Very nice.
Besides the incredible colors in this shot, I really love that the lines of the water are broken up by the ring of ripple formed around the Egrets feet
Over the top feel Fabs!! - Love the soft colours.
Hi Fabs,
Love the colours in the water and the dreamy feel to this :)
Hugs,
