An excellent image of this flycatcher. You did a great job on the sharpness/detail and exposure with a pleasing BG. I agree about the head turn....but flycatchers don't usually stick around long to pose. I might add a little more room on the right....and take a little off the left to get him out of the center. Well done.
Lovely bird, getting the bird our of the center of the frame may be a good idea as mentioned.
There's a technique call 'the rule of thirds' whereby one places the focal point (in this case your flycatcher) at one of the intersection of 3 imaginary lines which divide the image into thirds. Also termed a 'position of power' this technique often results in a more pleasing for the image viewer. I'm not sure why exactly, but it often works. If you search the forum you will find many references to this technique.
