Early yesterday morning I watched 6-8 Tree Swallows perform aerial acrobatics for over 30 minutes. Picture opportunities were few, and, because of their quickness, in-flight pictures were next to impossible, but these two did come together on a nearby branch once. I got off three snaps. (Note the band on the leg of the one on the right.) I found the coloring of the pair to be a big problem. So, the image is tweaked variously in Lightroom. Appreciate comments!

Nice pose and moment of interaction. Good eye contact There is a halo around each bird probably from changing the BG color/hue. The bird on the right, by it's feet the triangle of sky is lighter.

Hi Wendell - is this a large crop?? IQ seems to be suffering a little and some cleanup work as noted o your changes. Seems to be a lack of fine feather detail - techs look solid - so thinking this might be a large crop?

Hi Lance: The crop is at least 50% -- much larger than I'd like. But I was lucky, in this instance, to get anything. So, I posted an image I might not have tried otherwise. Really appreciate the candid tech comments . . .

Nice composition of these two beauties. Right bird appears to have some halos, specially around the beak.
