    Mating Burrowing Owl near Cape Coral Library

    Sharpened, cropped from landscape top to bottom of frame, brightness, contrast, wasn't comfortable toning down highlight on female owl's face more than slightly, tripod.

    I like the interaction and the direct eye contact with the lower owl. I don't mind lack of eye contact on the upper owl but wish the wing was not clipped. There is a problem with IQ because feather detail has been lost and birds have a painted look, perhaps too much noise reduction?

    Nice capture of this moment. The birds look a bit soft and the whites are partially overexposed. Negative EC might have helped with both issues.

    A first for me. Great timing and it appears a little soft on my monitor as well. Love the eyes on the lower owl !!!

    I know you see the same small issues the others mentioned, but the eyes tell the story and add greatly to the image. I shoot these birds on the east side of the Cape and the low sun in the grass makes it hard for a perfect print. This was done well.
