    Default Marsh Wren

Here's one from yesterday afternoon that I hope you will enjoy. I was torn between stopping down to ensure DOF and keeping my shutter speeds for that singing bill...

    Camera Model: Canon EOS 7D
    Shutter speed: 1/320 sec
    Aperture: 8
    Exposure compensation: +1/3
    ISO: 400
    Focal length: 500mm + 1.4x

Hi Glenn, I think this is a very pleasing image. There is enough depth of field for my taste. The signing pose adds a lot of interest. I like that the cat-tail is at an angle as I think that helps the composition. Good detail and sharpness where it counts. Very nice. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful shot. I love the colors, as they all complement each other. Really good BG blur, and very pleasing composition. Excellent exposure. I think I would crop in a bit overall. Also looks a bit over-sharpened.

Great pose and feel, lovely moment in nature.

Love the vert with bird tall in the frame - strong image.

I think you got the right DOF, since it looks very nice as presented. The diagonal perch adds a strong element to the image, congrats!
