...and cross your t's.:) I was fortunate to get a shot of this Drone Fly as seen through the gap in two petals of a daisy type flower. I haven't had much time to shoot lately and this is one of my older shots.

To get rid of a small piece of dark bg in the LLC I extended the petal slightly and also removed a piece of green from the RLC. I also desaturated the yellows.

    Vida,

Really great eye on this photo. Great use of DOF. Like the yellow flower pedals. They help make the photo.
    Thanks for sharing...

Vida, this is another amazing shot! I don't know how you do it.

The clarity is astounding and I agree with Charlie that the yellow really sets off the fly.

Lovely image, Vida! Love the yellow BG and excellent details in the fly. I don't think I've ever seen a fly with polka-dotted eyes before. :)

That title is PURE perfection! Another perfect image and the eye...wow! The pose and the angle here are so sweet and you did a bang up job on those yellows - they look creamy and perfectly saturated.

:D Ha ha, your title makes me laugh every time I view this image, which is a lot because I really like it! Awesome detail and DOF at this magnification. Very well composed, as always.
You really wonder how these creatures actually see something with those eyes....
