    Default Carolina Chickadee

I have been a way from this site for a time now for many boring reasons, but I have not stopped shooting when there is some extra time. I hope to be able to contribute again to this great site and I begin with this image made today after receiving the Alan Murphy Songbird Setup CD as a birthday gift.

I like the comp and think that the flowers add to the image. Good feather detail and nice catch light in the eye.
You may still get some comment on the HA.

Looks like you are making a good rebound. Nice pose and perch. Alan's CD has some great tips in it!

Overall quite beautiful. I do wish for a better HA (Dave saw it coming!!). Having had a lower sun angle from behind you would have prevented the far leg and part of the perch from being in the shade.
