    Pyrrhuloxia & Northern Cardinal (LR)

    Workshop South Texas

    D3, 600, ISO 1250, f8, 1/5000.

This was taken on my last workshop to Roma, TX.
Ot one point we counted 12 of the reddest Cardinals in one tree. This was the best year I have seen for activity at the feeders in over 8 years. Looking forward to going back in mid April. Let me know if you want to join me.

    Hey Alan,
Each alone would be sweet.....but put the 2 together.....wow! Debated center branch for a while.....but decided just works for me as presented.

Just stunning, Alan. Maybe clone out a little of the branch at the pyrrhuloxia's crest? Or not...

Spectacular, to catch both birds with great poses. Perch and bg perfect, as usual for your images. Keith has a good point about the tip of the twig at the crest of the pyrrhuloxia.

Love it. Also like the middle branch - more of the realness of nature.
