    Default Eye Problem

I know this is an very average shot of a boring subject (some sort of Hybrid) but what I am interested in is the eye which looks a bit weird to me because of the arc about a third of the way down the eye. Not sure what is causing it but it almost looks like the lid is partially closed. Would you work on the eye or just accept it as it is?
    Thanks for any feedback.
p.s. I have lightened the eye slightly to bring out a bit more detail.

Hi Roy That is the membrane coming down and will get a lot in birds !!! This should be an easy fix in PS Just darken the pupil with the clone tool and the smooth out the other area !!!

I sort of like the hybrid, just need some killer poses !!! :)

Agree with Al regarding building the eye, Is the bill in a shadow?

Exposure techs look good and like the composition - TFS.

Thanks for the feedback Al and Jeff - I have had a go at repairing the eye.
The bill was not is shadow Jeff but I have toned it down a bit as I though the yellow was too bright (slightly blown).

    Hello Roy,
Agree that the eye can easily be fixed. I might try to brighten the bill just a tad. Lovely pose - I am very partial to these head shots!
Where in SW England are you?
    Best regards,
    Nicki

Hi Roy - agree with the above - a easy fix - just disclose what you have done when posting.
    Exposure looks good.
