    Default Gadwall

It is finally nice here in Massachusetts. I had the pleasure of meeting some Gadwall early Sunday morning. Please share your thoughts on this image.

My thoughts are this is a wonderful image I like the angle (flat down would have been better) good exposure and the open beak a big plus

Not sure what is going on behind the duck Seems like the wake but has a circular pattern? Would crop some from top Too much room and has a flat appearance I like it a lot !!!!

Nice, pleasing tones with good detail on this one. I really like the shades of brown and tan. Looks to my eye like it could use just a tiny tweak of CCW tilt. I also see a bit of a smokier shade of brown above his head that could be minimized by cropping a little more off the top.

Love the soft light and details. I would not crop it. I do think you need to fix the horizon maybe one degree.

Sweet image of this beautiful duck. THe open bill is nice. Agree on the rotation, and perhaps a bit of selective sharpening on the head. (Slight)

Very nice pose, action, and light. Interesting color on the water - blends well with the colors of this bird. Agree with the need for a slight rotation.

Very nice image, Taylor. Looking at the light angle (the catch light gives it away), a little high and over your left shoulder, I'd like your subject's head angle to be toward you rather than parallel to the image plane. That way his face would be right on the light axis. Keep up the good work.
