    I have been observing this nest since early January. The chicks look like they about ready to begin flying. I realize the the second chick is in the shadow of the other. I just like the overall look of the the shot. Comments greatly appreciated.

    You are quite lucky to be able to observe this nest...looks like you have good access to it too. Having said this, it would be advantageous to visit the site when the light is not as harsh (early morning, late afternoon, or slight overcast). I'm wondering if you needed to crop this alot...detail seems lacking. Could also be a resizing/sharpening issue as the image is soft as posted.

    I do like the wing flap you managed to capture...and little brother or sister does not look too impressed - providing a bit of a humourous touch!

    Interaction and poses look good. I also would sharpen more as the birds look a bit soft on my monitor.
