    Default Great Egret portrait

When I was shooting American Avocets this guy landed and a big fight broke, I took a few portraits before he was chased off by screaming males!

    5D MKII, 500 f/4 +1.4X TC, f/5.6 1/800sec ISO 3200. sw: DPP cropped for better comp.

Hi Arash - love the BG - Good clear sharp eye and nice detail. Exposure is spot on!
Id be tempted to crop a little from the top.

Agree on the slight crop but man what a nice image!!! Love the whites and the beautiful blue bg !!! Noise wise there is not any !!! Great going for the high ISO for proper settings !! Those tones don't tend to bring out much and whatever it had I'm sure you were able to eliminate !!! Sweet !!

Arash - Love curve of the neck and composition/framing. Whites are spot-on and a great eye - strong image.

This is just about perfect. Great pose, nicely framed, good background, perfect focus and exposure.
