I've shared this red eft photo before in Macro. I used the flood filter, added a white vignette, and applied the dry brush and spatter filters. Your comments and critiques would be most appreciated.

Great colors, Christopher. Love those gold eyelids (?). And the flood filter made a great job of the reflection.:)

Christopher, This is very colorful and fun. I like the flood and the reflection. Nice comp. The green BG is very complimentary.

Jackie, this is a salamander, a red-spotted newt to be exact. During the juvenile stage, which is shown here, it lives on land and is called a red eft. The adults live in the water.

Thanks all for the comments. Much appreciated!

Not sure what I love more...the textures on the eft, the color combo of the orange and green or the beautiful white vignette that pulls the eye right where it is supposed to go. Oh..and the flood...it's all beautiful!

Excellent composition, Christopher. I love the complementary colors. The vignette works well here.
