This is my second try with this little guy. Last one the background had some branches that needed cleaning up. I havn't tried that yet, but I liked the background on this one.

Hi Scott I like the bg and everything else !!! Very good exposure, feathers nice and sharp Good detail around the eye Good pose and holding some food !!! Very pleasing image You could remove the two light shadow from chest Excellent !!!!

Hi Scott Decided and do a little work All done in Capture NX Its a Nikon conversion program then removed the shadow across the chest

Thank you all for the kind words. Alfred, that really looks nice, I'm gonna have to go back and play around with it and see if I can accomplish something similar. I wll be purchasing Jim's "CD" here soon and see what I can learn from it.

Are you kidding me?! This is an excellent photo. The bird looks great the BG is nice. Maybe a slight crop off the top.
