    One of my very favorite birds to photograph. Wish she had not been above the camera height.

    Nice job in getting her to pop from the BG, John. Good HA and eye contact, light on front of bird. The reds look a bit hot on my monitor. Good-looking bird!:cool:

    Nice feather detail there. The background is a bit busy but, as Julie said, you did a good job of getting some separation between subject and bg.

    Hi John Did great with the bird, good exposure and sharp, just back down the saturation in the red channel a bit.
    Agree with you on the angle but did well with the bg, the area above the large branch looks pleasing !!

    In CS4, I adjust reds with "Hue/Saturation" - select Red and reduce Sat. Can check histogram (red Channel) to track progress. Agree with Bob nice detail - well done.
