    Love the eye contact and head detail in this one, Jim. A little more room on the right would help, IMO. Well exposed whites in the chest, but those in the neck and back seem a little hot. Nice portrait.

    Thanks Keith. I was really struggling with the crop on this. I have plenty of room on the right, but it just didn't look right to me. I will take another look. This was also a real challenge to expose, with the deep blacks and bright whites in high contrast sun.

    Beautiful bird, Jim! Gorgeous colors and great details. I agree with adding a little more room on the right. I would also crop a little bit from the top and darken the highlights a bit. Nice job!
