I loved this when I saw it in the computer. I never knew as I captured, since it was part of a long action burst.
I know it doesn't meet the requirement for Avian, but I still wanted to share it. Rules are more relaxed here :)
Wouldn't you want to be a bird in the Everglades when food is jumping at you like that?

Awesome capture, Fabs. What a bonus when you downloaded and found it! Lovely to see this. TFS:)
Harold: 'Fish are jumpin': and the cotton is high'. Is this the song you're thinking of. If so it's Summertime - which from memory is from Porgy and Bess.

Fabs, Great capture getting the fish out of the water like that . It's amazing that the bird didn't catch one.

    Fabs,
I would be thrilled to have this in my collection. what a shot. I don't know why it would not meet the avian requirements. It is a wild bird in action. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Fabs:

Lots of impact, the action is so great, thats what makes it. Beats a technically perfect portrait anytime.

    The whites are OK too;);)

    Cheers

Harold, great minds think alike! Soon as I saw the first comment that music started playing in my head. :D

Great OOTB avian image, Fabs. No HA police here - we are happy to delight in your good fortune. :)
