NOT Theme- Atoll there iz-

Midway Atoll, perched on a pile of rusty things, probably from WWII.
I played with FRAC and erased out the bird so it stands on an otherworldly appearing perch. OH, for those with sharper eyes than mine, there appears to be a halo. <:-)

ID- Bristle Thighed Curlew. Neat bird!!

Yes, there's a halo. If you didn't want it, take the time to clone it out at pixel level, no big deal, just lots of work.
Is that a Curlew?

that's one of those rare curlews? the blue on yellow and red works well for me, too. the halo makes it look other-worldly!

Steve, nice colors and comp. You could probably even go with a vertical crop. Fabs gave some good advice regarding the halo. The image has a nice glow to it. I'm sure that Midway was beyond my wildest dreams!!!

I deliberately left in the halo because I like the effect. the comment about halo was tongue in cheek or is it tongue in chirp? If you can see, it would be impossible to miss. I will post a cropped vertical on avian soon. Midway was a pleasure. More fun and games coming up.

I like the halo it does add to the other wordly effect. Might have tried a lighter frac on the bird and erased him back in, Just NIDA.:) Midway sounds like an incredible place.
