    Default juvie caracara

An adult caracara and two vultures found a dead fish at the same time. The adult fought off the vultures, and after biting off a hunk of meat tried to fly away with it. It proved too heavy so he dragged it along the road and deposited it where a juvie could feast on it while the adult kept the vultures at bay. Great fun to watch and enjoy, also in great evening light.

I like the low angle and eye contact. I would move the bird to the right of the frame, and would also selectively sharpen the head.

Susan, although the second picture adds a lot to the story, we only allow in image per thread, and reposts of the same.
I have removed the second image, you can post it after the 24 hours limit :)

Adding to Doug's comment, I'd tone down the bright sop on the ULC.

Lovely image and eye contact. Agree with Doug and Fabs comments.

I love the low angle, prey and eye contact. I would move the bird to the right, critical focus seems to be on the wings rather than head, I would sharpen the head and beak more if possible. TFS

    Susan:

Very nice. Would crop and sharpen per Doug's suggestion. Exposure is good.

Thanks for the story, always adds to the image.

Great low angle and light. Sharpness on the head could be better, and subject too centred?
