Wonderful timing. I love the sheet of water dripping from its bill. The sandbar behind the bird distracts. I would crop to minimize it. The bird is angled away. Parallel to you would have been perfect for this type of image. Lastly, the BKGR is a mess. At the very least, I would clean up some of the larger, brighter areas if that fits with your personal ethics. In a similar situation, getting flat on the ground if possible would help with the background issues.
