Captured this one just outside Monte Vista Colorado. Spent the weekend down there shooting the migration.

Kurt:

Nicely exposed, with interesting pose. Like the curled primaries.

I like the lower background, good sense of season and environment. Wish the dark area on upper right wasn't quite so prominent.

I think the head/eye could stand just a bit more sharpening.

Angle, light and BG look good. I wish the wings were all the way up and the head were angled toward you. Another vote for more sharpening of the bird.
