    From today's kayak excursion to the Rachel Carson Estuarine Reserve. 40D, Bigma @ 500mm, iso 400, f/7.1, 1/1600. RAW conversin via CS3, selective sharpening of bird, despeckle and noise reduction of background, curves adjustment via photoshop.

    Bob,

    Nice habitat shot, might need more room for virtual feet but you have a nice clean edge on bottom. Nice colors, very earth tone. Might consider catch-light in eye. Artie has a nice thread on creating one in the How-To Learn Forum. Nice picture, you show the beauty of the bird and the environment - well done.

    Very nice, Bob. Really nice feather details, lighting and BG. To nitpick, I might clone out the blade of grass at the birds right knee.
