Nice technique to get this detail at 600MM. Unique composition, love the traction with the ground.
Have a foot fetish AL ?? LOL :)
Like it a lot !!!
Now that is a bit different, I cannot say I have seen a shot of a birds foot before but for me it is very effective. Nice capture.
Roy ... you haven't seen a shot of bird's foot before :) We are going to organize Bird Foot Week !!!! How about that !!! Will work out a sticky as soon as I get a chance, the challenge will be to go after the feet, fun it is
Lance the point has been brought out before .... just admiration :)
A nice pirouette pose.
Obviously has a manicurist.:) I have a similar shot of a trumpeter foot and when you get a close look the detail is quite something.
Al, like you, I have a thing for feet. But unlike you, my "thing" is very strong against feet. lol
But, after saying that, I love your image--the energy/tension/balance as well as the detail. just wish for a bit darker background as my eye keeps getting distracted by the bright bg. but it is the best foot image I have seen.
I will have to look through my "feet file". Oh wait, that's right. I have NO "feet file"!! lol
well, lately I have been trying to expand my "photographic horizons" so might as well stretch a bit more and see if I can find some feet. ewwww :)
this is going to be extremely challenging!
al, you never cease to amaze me. the bar has been set even higher for feet images after this one!!!!
It takes an artful eye to see a foot and capture it just so ... with the tippy toenail touching the ground. No arch comments from me: You're a sole brother instep with his art. You nailed that one. Well done!
Can wait for the assignment. Love the composition and the imagination
Nice idea Al! The image works for me....
Al, this is awesome. It looks like a ballerina on point!
I like the texture and color. I would love to see more. Sorry it took me so long to see this one.:o

Really like it. It feels like the first of a gallery series - other similar images belong with it - exploring feet. I think all the puns have been stamped out so I won't add another.
