    Dear all

He is one male I am chasing from last two years and he has one special place in my heart. Seen him as cub to fully grown male showing flehmen response.

Life is diffrent and difficult for everyone once we start doing on our own, even for Tigers. He is unable to create territory in Tala zone of Bandhavgarh NP as already three dominating males are takeing care of area and all females.

He has been trashed in friendly manner by his father B2 five times and once by elder brother. He got the girlfriend but apartment is in waiting :D. Coming six months will be testing time for him and I hope this beautiful male will create his own ground. Bandhavgrah will witness lot of male tiger fights in coming couple of years as there will be as many as six males competing for the area which can accomodate only three

    Created this image against morning light with D300 , 200-400 , ISO 400 at 290mm , HH , FF

Moody and different from others you have posted. Light, bg and stare seem to be all in sync together Love the rim light and bg !! Might be my favorite form the many you have shown !

Love it Harshad. Enough separation from foliage yet still showing environment. Lighting and detail look great. Have you tried a crop from the top? I looked at one removing about 1/2 the space above this beautiful cat and liked the result. See what you think. Very well done. TFS
ps. Thanks for the critique on spring griz, you are right.

A fine image. Just a small crop from the bottom to remove the bright out of focus leaves would further strengthen the image. I am ok with the space on top and it can take some text.

    Cheers,

Hi Harshad, well you have pulled out another excellent image out of the bag, and it's nice to see a different setting too. Having been privileged to see this image earlier I will slightly backtrack from a few comments made as a PM.

I thought the blades of grass on the lhs were distracting and should be remove.
No leave them in as it gives context and placement to the image

Like Sabyasachi I also felt that the bright green at the foot needed to be toned down
On reflection this indicates the lighting, time of day, happy for it to stay in.

I would however crop a fraction from the top and just slight open up the the Tiger ONLY in curves/levels ;)

The concentration & stare is conveyed extremely well, a lovely image.

Very nice Harshad. The soft rimlight adds some nice feel and you've got some excellent detail. I'd tone down the yellow/greens on the bottom.

Of all your Tiger images, the back light, rim light and sunny BG make this the most artistic one.
    Very proud of you.

Another truly marvelous image, proof if it was needed that patience and dedication brings rewards.
The only thing I may consider is a small crop at the bottom to eliminate the OOF leaves and perhaps a little off the top.

Super shot Harshad. Lovely whisker detail. The atmospheric lighting is most effective.
