From a short trip to Nickerson this afternoon. Many Sanderlings and a few pair of Oyster Catchers. Looks like they will be sitting on eggs very soon. I would have liked a little better light but it got overcast and didn't have much to work with. It still felt good to get out and shoot. Havn't been in a while. Things should start to "heat up" here soon.:):):)

Beautiful light and pose, water to die for. I'd hate to say it, but all I need is a better head angle. Perfect reds on the bill and the back of the neck looks a bit blocked, maybe you can get more detail out of it. :)
    Good techs, btw.

I like the flying droplets and bubble rafts on the water with the plane of focus isolating the bird, Joe. I think the image could be brightened by lifting the darks and midtones a little.

    Hey Joe,
Thanks for the update! Not a card carrying member of the HA police.....but have to agree. Really looking forward to the upcoming OC year!
