Cropped slightly. The histogram looked pretty good, and some Exposure, Clarity, Brightness and Sharpening (no NR) in Lightroom seemed about right to me. Perhaps I should have brightened the beak and the eye? Would you? And would you brighten the feet? How does it look to y'all?

Wendall, I like the pose and the exposure looks good to me, except maybe some detail lost in the whites on the birds back-might be my monitor. As for the beak and the feet, you will need to hear from the experts on that.:)

Julie ... feet I know .. long story but might post one in a few days or sooner !!! :)

Wish you had pointed the camera down a bit to have more room in the direction the bird is moving basically positioning the bird higher in the frame. The whites look fine, we always like more detail. The beak is a little dirty but that is the birds doing :) ... and legs look fine with plenty of yellow showing !!! ... btw can darken the beak a bit and saturate the yellow lores

These guys look their best when they fluff the feathers, do a courtship pose or just fighting with another. Can be spectacular !!!

Hi Wendall, Good advice given by Al.The image does call for a bit more room on the bottom and less on the top....
