    Hi Folks

Had a trip to Madera Kubo B&B, Madera Canyon, AZ just before noon today to deliver some notecards. Took my camera as Cora said there were 3 different Hummers visiting the feeders. Yep! Occasionally and to a feeder in the shade and mixed BG.

Well, Al Forms had told me awhile ago that Hummingbirds can absorb a lot of light, so experimenting I took his advice the few times I had seen them this year and was still testing. So what I did today was to set my flash higher until I had a lot of blinkies on the BG, but none on the hummingbird when I caught him all alone away from the feeder.

    CC's warmly invited.

Hi Gus These guys can soak in the light ... some of those colors just don't reflect !!! Might try getting a flash on the front part, all else looks really nice !!! Love the wing position and pose !!! Doing good !!!

btw for your cards you might experiment making all the bg same as the upper left corner !! Neat colors !!!

    Hi Folks

    Thanks for your kind words.

BTW: If your interested in making folding 4.25" x 5.5" cards, I can make it easy for you. Install the free Avery program. I'll give you a Portrait & Landscape template and all you do is add your own photo & text and save under its own name. Much easier than the tutorial at http://unclegus.150m.com/Notecards/DisNDat.htm

Nice one Gus, might need more light to counter bright BG. Did the histogram have a bias towards the left - just curious?
